How do we do it
Social Program
Adequate Nutrition
Lines of Action
Growth Monitoring
We support families in understanding the importance of recognizing the nutritional status of children. Through counseling and awareness-raising, we promote early detection of risks and the adoption of practices that prevent malnutrition.
Maternal and Child Nutrition
We promote nutrition education to support healthy diets for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children under two years of age. We place special emphasis on the first 1,000 days of life, a critical window for growth and development.
Healthy Eating
We promote the preparation and consumption of nutritious and diverse meals that combine different food groups, respect local culture and products, and support children’s physiological development. We encourage healthy lifestyles by avoiding ultra-processed foods to help prevent non-communicable diseases.
Food Availability
We promote agroecological practices that combine ancestral knowledge and scientific expertise. Through family systems such as home gardens and the milpa, we encourage crop diversification with native and traditional species, seed conservation, soil care, and the well-being of backyard animals. These practices contribute to the production of nutritious foods that improve food security and dietary diversity.
