Lines of Action
Health and Climate Change
We promote scientific research to understand the impacts of climate change on health, including respiratory diseases, allergies, and illnesses transmitted through water, food, and insects. This research supports preventive and adaptive actions that protect health and strengthen community resilience to environmental challenges.
Water and Basic Sanitation
We promote household hygiene practices, access to safe drinking water, and the use of appropriate sanitation infrastructure to prevent disease and protect health. These actions contribute to better food utilization and healthy development, especially during early childhood.
Advocacy for Access to Public Health Services
We promote awareness-raising processes so families understand and use available public health services, particularly maternal and child healthcare. At the same time, we strengthen the capacities of health personnel to improve service delivery in rural communities.
Sexual and Reproductive Health
We promote education and awareness around sexual and reproductive health. We support women during pregnancy to improve early access to and adherence to prenatal care and family planning, contributing to family well-being and the healthy development of young children.
